Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Knothead crew have helped me with a few tree trimmings this spring as well as tree limb removal from snow damage, even referring me to a stump grinder for a few dead bushes. They were respectful and efficient and actually showed up when they said they would! I would recommend their services ~ 5 stars!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Knothead Tree Care visited The Indian Park Schoolhouse and trimmed our huge old trees with care. They understood the need to trim the dead branches while still caring for the tree. They were fast, efficient, but most of all careful of the trees.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Greg, Garrett, and Alex from Knothead did really great work removing a large 40+ year-old foxtail pine that had succumbed to a faulty watering system and extreme drought conditions. They were remarkably efficient and cleaned up everything when the job was done. We will definitely use their services again--highly recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I just had our trees sprayed for the second time, this company, and these people, Aaron and AJ, have saved my trees. We were told by another arborist that our trees were going to die, and there was nothing we could do about it. This company‘s arborist came out and told us what to do to save our trees, we did what he told us to do, and they did what they said they were going to do. And saved all our trees thanks again. Highly recommended. Also reasonably priced for the work they do.

Addressing Tree Care Challenges Unique to Monument Properties

The Importance of Tree Management Along the Palmer Divide

Monument sits along the Palmer Divide, where elevation, wind exposure, and seasonal extremes create unique challenges for trees. Working with an experienced tree service company in Monument, CO, ensures your trees are maintained with these conditions in mind.

In areas like Woodmoor and Bent Tree, mature Ponderosa pines often deal with overcrowding, competition for nutrients, and storm damage. Meanwhile, properties in Kings Deer and other nearby acreage communities face high winds, snow load stress, and soil variability.

We help homeowners address challenges such as:

Fire Mitigation & Defensible Space: Reduce fuel loads and maintain safe distances around homes to protect properties from wildfires.
Heavy Snow & Wind Damage Prevention: Strengthen trees through structural pruning to withstand snow loads and Monument’s gusty conditions.
Overcrowded or Dense Tree Stands: Thinning to improve airflow, reduce disease risk, and support healthy growth in mature pine and mixed forests.
Soil Health & Root Zone Improvement: Address soil compaction and clay content with deep root fertilization to enhance tree stability and long-term vigor.
Pest & Disease Mitigation: Protect trees from regional threats such as mountain pine beetles, borers, and fungal infections.
